Fasting Forever

"I come across a stupid idea," she said with her eyes watery, and her heart dried from yearning a normal marriage life.

"I will do fasting forever until the man who claimed himself as my husband gets a job and exchange the role of backbone in this family with his useless bones." She continued saying words to herself as her way to protest against her husband's unjust action and irresponsible decision.

She knew very well that her husband was a clever guy. However,  he used his cleverness for his own advantages. He skipped earning money, avoid getting a job because he knew that he could use his wife to do all those tiring pieces of stuff. What he needed was just yelling and cursing anytime his wife and children did not meet his plans. Meanwhile, he himself enjoyed food and drink for free as soon as his busy and endless work wife cooked for him. He would very cleverly tell everyone that his time to get a fit job has not arrived yet. He would also tell everyone that he had tried his best to get a job unfortunately no job was suitable for him. He told everyone that he could not work under other commands, he could work as a  boss for himself.  So for now, he said that his life was 100% just for supporting his wife. He forgot his own dreams for his wife, that he said to make others astonished with his generosity scaffolding his wife. People clapped hands for his perfect preach about his sacrifice for his wife. Others never saw that he abused the word wife as slavery.

One idea came to her mind. She should die before her husband did. She wanted to teach him that life demanded work not asking others to work for him. She wondered what her husband looked like when she was not around. She believes her husband still could take advantage of her death.  She left retirement money every month, then he still milking her sweat even after she died.

Life sometimes was not fair. She often asked herself why she should encounter this bitter life. What sins had she done so that she should pay in this unspeakable pain.
She never understood marriage life.
