Caption can be defined as a title or brief explanation appended to an article, illustration, cartoon, or poster. You can see caption on article, illustration, cartoon, poster or social media. The purpose of caption is to explain the reader about the main idea in the text or article. 

What is newspaper caption?

A newspaper caption is a text that appears below an image to draw attention to something in the image that is not obvious, such as its relevance to the text. In most photo captions, the first sentence identifies the people and place in the photograph and the date and location where it was taken. The second (and perhaps third) sentence should provide contextual information to help readers understand what they are looking at.

The writing is on the wall: People wait outside the Jami’ At-Tarbiyah Mosque in Ceger, East Jakarta, prior to Friday prayers, on August, 28, with a mural in the background noting the importance of complying with COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask, washing one’s hands and maintaining physical distance from others. What is Instagram caption?  

An Instagram caption is a written description or explanation about the Instagram photo to provide more context. Instagram captions can include emojis, hashtags, and tags.

Forget the butterfly; I feel the whole zoo, when I am with you. Sometimes, someone comes into your life so unexpectedly, take your heart by surprise, and changes your life forever.
