Copy paste era

Today is last day of Rewah or a month before holy month for Moslem. After Rewah, all Moslem will practice fasting for a month endlessly.

This fasting month becomes a holy month for Moslem as it is believed that upon the completion of a month fasting, they are like reborn as people who has been purified and no sin.

As gadget becomes one of Moslem personal belonging lately. Welcoming the holy month feels a bit weird to me.  When gadget has not been around, a day before  fasting, my family would visit elders and brought them some cakes or foods to depict our gratitude that we are given a chance to pass another fasting month. This tradition causes me, as child, think that fasting month is not only a holy but  also a sacred month. No dare to say any words that may degrade the meaning of this holy month.

Now, welcoming holy month is not that solemn anymore. It is just like welcoming ordinary things that may appear any time in the daily life. For example, a friend congratulates for birthday, then hundred texts copy the congratulation. This action does not represent sincere. Read, copy, and leave.
Or, one announced that one of his family passed away. Then, a rext stated condolence appeared. Next, hundred copies of condolence text pop up and filled the screen. I am afraid it is not from their heart, but an action of a thunmd that is very skillful in doing copy paste.

When welcoming holy month by copy paste,  it becomes daily welcoming that meaningless except for lip service.  Worse part, the same card, the same words, the same video, are shared different people and different group using the sender name. We know very well that thise video  those card, those words are nit made by the sender.  Don't they feel ashamed of claiming what others made with their  name? Don't they think it is wise to welcome holy month by a purposeful lie. Lie of claiming the words, the card and the video is made by the sender.
