It was around 2017, I gave Kuningan public garden a visit. The garden was provided by the regency administrator to support the people enjoying the beauty if Kuningan's nature. The garden could be visited by anyone and the good news was that it was for free, you paid for the park only. The area was quite big. You could take a slow walk.
One interesting thing to see was a flat stone wall. The wall was like taking you a different world. The stone stood firmly as if it wanted to welcome everyone who visited the garden. My mind walked wildly as my eyes met the strong, black, and high wall. I imagined that my ancestors cut and took that stone to build a temple. But my imagination halted as there was no temple in Kuningan made of stone. Stone temples were scattered in Central Java.
The path brought me to a different feeling too. It was clean and took me to different ends. Behind the stone wall I could see the scenery of villages. Houses and rice field laid below the slope. The green and fresh air helped me to realize that treating the nature well, it would treat me back better.
After some time, I found a beautiful bougainvillea that attracted my eyes. It presented its bright color. I stopped for a while to let my eyes absorb the beauty of color presented by nature.
Before I entered the area near the close gate, I saw that the garden tried to bring kids to their familiar scene. Minion, despicable, the figure of kids film appeared to welcome kids. When I observed closely, the minion was the trash bin. It was so creative and interesting to provide trash bin in the form of a cartoon character.
I had a very nice walk. I felt like I could give myself a rest from modern life. My eyes met the green color of nature, my chest filled with fresh air. I hoped that my town also had such a garden so that I could spend some of my time there.
